Places to visit:
- Carry your passport to the museum, SA passport holders get in free.
- Amazing shopping spots around Tahrir Square.
- Aside from touristy things to do, for interesting places check out the Cairo and Egyptian streets.
- Do a day trip to Dahab to Snorkel in the Blue Hole, it is amazing.
Bookings:
- Do not book anything under 4 stars, be sure to read the reviews as it is extremely important.
- Be ready to be nagged a lot in Cairo.
- It is very hard to visit the pyramids.
- Make sure you have somewhere with breakfast and try to get close to the pyramids.
- Sharm El Sheik is the best to book all-inclusive. Soho Square to get out at night.
- In Sharm El Sheik, stayed the night at Steigenberger, it was excellent. All inclusive.
- Staying in Naama Bay is good, you are close to all the markets, etc.
- In Sharm El Sheik, we booked all-inclusive at Stella di Mare, the resort was amazing.
- All-inclusive is a must in Sharm El Sheik.
- Some hotels only have a snorkeling beach, so best to check on that.
- In Cairo, we stayed at the Pyramids Boutique Hotel, best view ever and the staff was amazing.
Review:
Such an underrated country, I had amazing trips every time. Sharm El Sheik has amazing resorts and is so affordable.
