Kromrivier Farm is perfect for the adventure seeker. Situated at the foot of the Riviersonderend Mountain Range between Greyton and Riviersonderend, our little piece of heaven is merely two hours drive from Cape Town. From camping and self-catering cottages to hiking and 4×4 trails, Kromrivier Farm is the perfect place to escape and enjoy the best of what Mother Nature has to offer.
Amenities and Services
At the Kromrivier Farm there are various types of accommodations from a luxury 2 sleeper cottage (Morado) to a large 12 sleeper cottage (The Oak Lodge). The Kromrivier Farm also has camping facilities available.
– Toiletries are supplied at the Morado but not at the Oak Lodge.
– Morado has free uncapped Wi-Fi. The Oak Lodge and the campsite do not have electricity.
– Cleaning services are provided for long stays of 5 nights or more at the cottages. It can be organised at an additional charge over shorter stays.
– For long stays cleaning will be every 2-3 days. It can be on any day that is suitable for the guest.
Braai Facilities
– Cottages have braai facilities and grids are provided. (For Halaal guests it is advisable to carry your own grid)
– Campsite has braai facilities but grids are not supplied.
Maximum Capacity of the Accommodation
– Morado : 2 adults (+ 2 children between 0-3) or it gets a bit cramped.
– Oak Lodge : 10 beds (2 doubles and the rest are single bunk beds). Caters for 12 people sleeping in beds. Can be adults or a mix of adults and children up to 12.
– Campsite can cater for up to 150 people. Mix of adults and kids.
Minimum Booking
– Cottages minimum 2 nights stay
– Campsite no minimum stay.
Other Activities
Activities on the farm include hiking trails, swimming, fishing, 4×4 routes, mountain bike routes, rainforest walks with taxonomic identifications of the trees, bird watching and renosterveld nature walks.
