Cocoa Bean Cakery

Cocoa Bean Cakery

Briefly tell us about your business and why you started it?

Love consists of four letters, and so does the word ‘bake’!

Made by hand, from scratch, to perfection, with love.  This venture was inspired by our Mum Khadija.

As I recall, ever since we were little most of our home bakes have been whipped up at home by mum with a touch of uniqueness for every occasion. It all began in mums kitchen where she taught us the preparation of baking and the art of decorating. Since then we’ve been quite keen & have been lending a hand at her home industry. Throughout our schooling journey we experimented with a variety of treats and decorating techniques and shared these treats with friends and family. Fast forward a few years, this hobby has now turned into a small confectionery home industry ‘run’ by 3 sisters (from eldest): Ayesha (Lenasia), Mariam (Pietermaritzburg) & Sabeeha (Durban).

What differentiates you from others in your industry?

Cocoabean Cakery is run by 3 sisters. We are home based businesses and we are located in 3 different cities. We each have unique styles but deliver quality products that taste like home.

Where are you located? Please include your physical address and contact number.
