South Africa hosts a large variety of fruit picking experiences for you to enjoy. Halaal Travels has rounded up arguably the most comprehensive list of where you can pick your own fruit in South Africa.
Where to pick fruit in the Western Cape:
1. Klondyke Cherry farm
Situated 30km from the town of Ceres in the Western Cape. Climb up ladders, or pick the cherries hanging on the low branches, the choice is yours, but the end result will be the same, the tastiest, juiciest cherries for you to devour. 2. Mooiberge Farm Stall
Located just outside Cape Town in Stellenbosch.

3. Polkadraai Strawberry Farm
Where: Polkadraai Farm M12, Stellenbosch Arterial Road, Stellenbosch

Attractions on site: Tractor rides, Pony rides, Mini golf, Face painting, Arts and craft, Play Ground, Food Court. I am not sure if there are any halaal food options here in the Food Court.

4. Hoogwater Farm

10. Bon Af Berry Farm
The Bon Af Berry Farm can be found on the Free State side if the Vaal River, near the town of Parys.
Where: Getting there: Take the N1 west from JHB to the Sasolburg / Parys turn-off. Continue to Parys, turning right at the Barrage Intersection. The farm is a further 400m.
