1. There’s traffic anywhere even at midnight, any day of the week.
2. There’s a spice market… but you will not find Indian chillie powder in Istanbul.
3.The sidewalks aren’t stroller friendly. There’s likely to be a tree in the middle of the pavement.
4. You will learn to enjoy salad for breakfast.
5. You’ll become an expert at discerning good kunefe.
6. You better learn to speak Turkish to survive!
7. You’ll feel spoilt being able to have coffee, dessert, groceries anything delivered to your door in minutes.
8. You’ll fully experience four seasons in the year -with different clothes for each.
9. You’ll form friendships with people from all over the world – and get used to saying goodbyes as people come and go.
10. You’ll never tire of ferrying across the Bosphorus between continents.
