If you’re looking for a way to spend an afternoon in Istanbul for the whole family, then Meydan AVM in Umraniye is ideal. It’s a bit of a distance out from Sultanahmet though as it’s on the Asian side, so factor in travel time.
It has an open air section as well as covered making it suitable for any kind of weather.
Features:
⭐️Indoor play : games, soft play, trampoline park, laser
⭐️Outdoor play : fun fair, robots, climbing/ playground (free)
⭐️Mall for shopping – mostly high street brands both local turkish and international. There is also a great variety of home stores
⭐️ Food court, cafes and restaurants
⭐️ All amenities (comfortable bathrooms, chill area and prayer room)
You could spend the day here and not get bored.
But in the slight chance you do, then right next door is Ikea, which is like an adventure anyway right navigating through the maze of homeware displays, so worth a checkout for a fun sensory experience!
